Hello Robocrafters
A new update for the Robocraft 2 Playtest is now live! The key improvements are as follows:
The resource drop system has been enhanced to provide a consistent spread of resources.
The Forge resource costs and Garage upgrade costs have been adjusted to align with the updated resource drop system.
The tank tracks' ability to climb steep slopes has been improved.
We’re ramping up invitations to the Robocraft 2 Playtest so make sure to check your emails to see if you’ve been selected. We have just invited 2,000 players! But there is still time to request access so please make sure you do so from the Steam page right now!
We’ll be sending out invites regularly so if you’re not in the first wave, there will be plenty of opportunities to be invited.
The current version of the Steam Playtest is built with Robocraft 2014/2015 era as a foundation and we wanted to share some of the features that are currently playable in the most recent build.
Iconic block-based building
Explosive sci-fi combat
Crafting system
The return of a classic map, Hellion Crater
Seamless transition to the test area
Modular tank tracks
We’re going to be adding more weapons, movement parts and other features soon. If you want to be alerted of any further developments, please make sure to follow us on Steam. You can do so by going to the Steam Page and clicking “Follow”. You can also sign up for the Playtest at the same time if you haven’t already done so!
How can I be accepted for steam play test?
camera control should remove, because drone user use that with no skill wasd, if not remove all player may use drone lol
I really like the first one , but the nerfin and the more nerfin. you'd build something fun to play and then it would get nerfed, then you build another thing and it would get nerfed. eventually it seemed like they were trying to fight original builds. I beilieve it helps a little if your connected to the community, but most of the Community doesn't build games. BUT BUT. this is still a good premise and I have high-moderate hopes for RC2
Thank you for not giving up.
I played Robocraft one many 800 hours and was never annoyed. In the version of 2015 for me was fun because there was a sense of progress in experience and the player had the time to think a strategy in the match and play in team, but in the next years with the vehicle more and more faster, there was no more that sensation of strategy. 😘
It looks promising. No longer just big cars with singular big weapons on top of them. PLEASE. Really pay attention to balance this time. No more drones or anything similar that dominate the sky and even ground, rendering the likes of insect legs or wheels obsolete.
One more thing. No more Robocraft Royale or CardLife or anything like those. We don't need you to make Robo Impact or Honkai: Robo-Railed.
